Jocelyn runs for Tinnitus Quest
Double the impact
If we can raise $10,000, an anonymous donor has pledged to give another $10,000.
My Story
Who am I?
My name is Jocelyn Tritton, I am 22 and work as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in London. I have a close circle of friends and family and enjoy speaking Spanish. I also play volleyball, go to the gym, and like to read (although this battles with a YouTube habit!). I will always accept a history book as a present. I also have tinnitus, but it does not define me.
What am I doing?
I’ve decided to use my place in the London Marathon on April 27th to raise money for a tinnitus cure. Tinnitus Quest is a charity conducting bold research into promising pathways to find a cure that could benefit over 750 million people in the world that are affected by tinnitus.
But that requires funding. I encourage you to please donate as much as you feel comfortable with.
Why am I doing it?
I have dealt with the distress caused by tinnitus for three years and want an effective, inexpensive cure to be found so others don’t have to suffer from this overlooked but common condition that can cause sleep problems, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, depression, and thoughts of self-harm. Having spoken with the Tinnitus Quest team, I trust their focus on finding better treatments to silence tinnitus.
I’m running the London Marathon this April to fundraise for Tinnitus Quest and a cure for tinnitus—because I know what I had, and don’t want others to lose it.
