We have a 5-year plan for bringing us as close as possible to our vision of silencing tinnitus.

At the end of the 5 years, we should have concluded several research projects funded by Tinnitus Quest that will provide crucial new insights for a cure. We will also be awarding a prize for the best research project, attract an A-list celebrity ambassador for awareness raising, and publish a report outlining the way forward to get a tinnitus cure to market as quickly as possible.

Along the way, we will be reporting on ongoing research projects on a quarterly basis. We will report not only the success stories but also the failed studies, and what we can learn from these failures, because in Winston Churchill’s words: “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.”

  • Organize research brainstorm event in Germany
  • Establish 501c3 non-profit in the United States
  • Achieve USD 1M in donations (aspirational goal)
  • Open up our grants program for applications
  • First research projects kick off – aim to fund at least 4 projects
  • Significantly expand our public outreach numbers
2026 Milestones
  • Organize second research brainstorm event in Germany
  • Achieve USD 1.5M in donations (aspirational goal)
  • Publish quarterly reports on the website on each ongoing project that we fund
  • Organize regular Q&As with researchers that we fund
  • Disburse second round of research grants – aim to fund 4-6 projects
  • Attract an A-list celebrity as ambassador for the cause
2027 Milestones
  • Organize third research brainstorm event in Germany
  • Achieve USD 2M in donations (aspirational goal)
  • Publish quarterly reports on the website on each ongoing project that we fund
  • Organize regular Q&As with researchers that we fund
  • Disburse third round of research grants – aim to fund at least 6 projects
  • Publish comprehensive report on key learnings and insights from our research projects so far, and a roadmap to get a cure to market
  • Give out prize for most successful research project (TBD)

  • Organize fourth research brainstorm event in Germany
  • Achieve USD 2.5M in donations (aspirational goal)
